« on: September 16, 2015, 11:00:20 PM »
Running a 70cc bbk malossi
95 jet in stock carb
Stock air box with couple extra little holes
Blue torque spring
Red clutch springs .
7.5 weights but i think 8.5 might be better ?

Running max speed of 55-58mph

Is this right setup . im still waiting on carb and intake . but
I wanna ride till comes .

If you're not running lean then it's as right as it needs to be,  imo.
Check out the way I modded my air box for ideas to open it up without going full open pod.  Just be prepared to upjet even more.  http://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?topic=14121.0

I took the pictures without, but put it back,  of course. I'd never run far without!

Not big enough jets for open pod filter.  You'll seize if you try to run it like that.

I didn't know what a velocity stack was until just now. Google to the rescue.  I always assumed that my needle was too rich because of it's sputter after dropping back to half throttle from wide open.  Now I wonder if it's due to the mild ribbing in the tubing I used...

I'm gonna have to ask my German technician if he's familiar with that word.  I kinda like it.  It sounds similar to a word I tend to use lol

I'm still dialing in my carb, but it's running pretty well on a 108 main. It still a little hesitant at 1/2 throttle  and accelerating out of a turn but at 1/4 and WOT it runs perfect. I think my idle jet is still a touch low. BTW I made my own velocity stack out of a piece of aircraft exhaust manifold l. You can buy them on ebay though.

Other Gears are for top speed. You might get an adjustable clutch,  high rpm clutch springs,  and make it kick in at a higher rpm to get wheelies.  Or really,  wheelies can be achieved already, most likely.  I just feel like mine is heavy. I've got white springs in a malossi delta.  If I got stiffer springs it would rise easier,  but I'm driving mine in instances where I already have enough problems keeping the front tire on the ground accelerating from a stop.  Makes left turns from a light interesting!
