Transmission vent
« on: September 19, 2015, 12:20:03 AM »
At idle I have no issues with it, however when I start to get higher rpm (only in gear) I get oil coming out of the transmission vent, very little white smoke, only a wisp here and there is any at all, but it's pushing oil all the way up into the breathe at speed. What could be causing this? At first I thought it had to much oil in it, but according to the window it's dead on right, and the oil level hasn't dropped, however the bike has no acceleration, won't hold idle unless I turn it up, and in higher rev it starts to miss and have no power, any suggestions? Trying to straighten this little bike out for the ol lady and is rather work on the Harleys any day, this thing is finikye. I just replaced the motor, it's an 04 and the motor came from an 05, had really good compression, in neutral it will rev nicely and sounds strong (other then the fact it won't hold idle), riding is another story
