people S 200 missing fuel line?
« on: September 26, 2015, 12:12:47 AM »
ok, I've become a bit old in age and a couple of summers ago I had an issue with a weed trimmer that needed some fuel line.   I may or may not have borrowed some from my Kymco.  Now I'm fixing her up and the thing is bleeding fuel from the left side bottom hose coming from the carb.  It's maybe 2 inches long and cut at an angle like a vent hose would be cut.  If I plug it, the scooter stops running.  Then along the top of the chassis, there is some fuel line that runs from the fuel tank down the right side of the top chassis to the front of the engine compartment.  there are 2 hoses.  One appears to be missing a section (this is where I might have cut from) and another has an odd plastic disc that has a spot for another hose to plug into but nothing is there.  Does anyone know of or have a fuel line map?  Or some pictures of theirs in working order?  I'll add pics to this when I have a few more minutes.  It's driving me bonkers that I might have forgotten that I cut up some line from it.  Otherwise, the float is stuck and it's forcing fuel out this one hose (but this hose is not the one from the bottom of the bowl used to drain for winter prep).  thx in advance.
