Hello from the other corner. Anchorage, were the sun always shines (usually behind the clouds) and it is toasty warm (if your inside with a good fire). The mountains already have a covering of snow (termination dust) and most the leaves are off the trees. The rain has turned cold and arrives nearly every day. Most of the big salmon runs are over. Moose hunting is under way. The bears are fat and looking for a place to winter. So you just sit back in that beach chair, feel the sun on your face, the cool drink in your hand and know all is well with world. Enjoy the ride.
