Buzzer noise
« on: September 27, 2015, 06:02:53 PM »
Hello all, new to the site. I bought a new uxv 450i camo edition and have about 60 miles on it and love it so far. One problem I have with it is the annoying loud buzzer sound when you turn the key to the ON position. Is there any way you can unhook it? Also the brake sensor quit working and I can only start it in neutral and brake lights are always on? Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

Have you tried stepping a little harder on the brake pedal? On mine I have to depress the brake pedal about halfway for it to start in gear.

I adjusted the sensor that connected to the brake pedal with no change. Brake lights are on all the time. Hopefully you can find something about the buzzer. It's very annoying. Thanks for the help!

no, there is no oil pressure till the engine is running, the oil pump is mechanical, not electric

if you want to unplug the buzzer it is under the front panel next to the steering column.  It simply unplugs

It is a little round thing with 4 holes on top. The plug is just to the left. It's white with a green and an orange wire. I cant seem to get the picture to load. says it is too big so this is the best I can do.

Well I had a chance to look for it today and I found it! I did unplug it which stopped the buzzer. Everything still seemed normal after. Should hurt having it unplugged should it?

I personally don't think that it would. you can hear the fuel pump priming. I just wait a few seconds.
