Kymco Sento 50 Fuel Lines

Hi all,

To preface, I am not very mechanically oriented, but am pretty good at working with what I've got and figuring it out.

That being said, I bought a Kymco Sento 50 from some folks a few weeks back that had the fuel lines, vacuum lines and petcock all disconnected. 

Long story short, I have no idea what part of the petcock it for the vacuum tube and which is to for the gas lines. I've also found an extra tube that isn't connected to anything.

Any help identifying what tubes go where would be great.

on the top picture, the line in your hand is the main fuel line. that goes to the top port on your petcock.

vacuum line goes to the bottom of the petcock.

not sure about the other line. hard to see in the pic.

Hey thanks for the help, I uploaded some new pics with numbers and an additional angle of where each tube plugs in.

Can you help me verify where these go?

number 2 is the bowl drain, just let it hang towards the ground.

Everything's there - top connection on the fuel valve is to the base of the carb, and the bottom connection is to the intake manifold for vacuum, the third tube is just for draining the fuel from the carb.  It just hangs down free.

I just connected these fuel and vacuum lines and as soon as I poured gas in the tank, it leaked from the end of the vaccuum tube that was not connected to the petcock.

Is there a reason gas would even come out of the bottom port on the petcock?

Yes, your petcock is buggered.  The bottom fitting should be airtight when you blow into it. It's difficult to replace because it's under the gas tank, above the wheel, almost totally inaccessible.  It needs a nasty little O-ring to seal properly.  If you're not comfortable with disassembling the entire rear end of your scooter, take it to a Kymco dealer.
