Help please
« on: October 13, 2015, 12:11:44 AM »
For some reason my scooter will crank and run fine for a while then all of a sudden die like if you killed it with the kill switch. Wait about ten minutes then it cranks up like it never happened and then does it again after about ten to fifteen minutes of running. What's wrong with it has got me puzzled. What could it be.... Any ideas

Sounds like a kinked fuel breather hose or clogged vent.

150-4t
Did you test fuel flow and spark?

Could be as simple as overfilling the gas tank and wetting the vent canister . . no air in . . no gas out.

If your engine has the typical AC-CDI ignition system, test stator and trigger pickup . . warm windings will sometimes intermittently short out.  CDI and ignition coil ice test.
