My new People GTi300 2015 AUST.
« on: October 21, 2015, 12:47:02 AM »

I got kymco people GTi300 2015 model in September. I am very happy with my purchase. Have done few trips with it already. It drives very nice and it's so easy to ride. I've never riden a scooter before so it's a new experience for me and still getting used to it.

I am thankfull for this forum, as I already learned a lot from it. So I decided to join and share my experience and hopefully can contribute too.  :)

I already have done an engine and gear oil change at 500km (310 miles). Since I am just over 1100km (680 miles) now I'll do a second one. I've decided not to go to the dealer, but to do my own maintenance. But I do have a mechanic in town that I can rely on. I am thinking of changing oil every 2,500km (1553 miles) after one more oil change.

So far I got helmet hook for it. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll include the links. It's on my left handlebar. It's really handy as I didn't know what to do with the helmet when it was time to refuel.

I also got a nice cable lock. So I can lock my 2 helmets when I have a passanger with me. It's called Master Lock Python

Wallis lake, near Forster.

Above pictures are from my recent, exploratory ride to Seal Rocks, nsw, Australia.  ;D Thank you.

My goodness,Australia eh?
I'd be too tempted to run away from home and live in a drift-wood hovel on the beach.
Do gear oil changes and belt replacements for a living.
'Cept I'd miss my wife and children.
And flush toilets.

Welcome. Nice pictures.
Sorry they were out of red Gti's down there.

Thank you Gentlemen for warm welcome.  :)

It's really great country. I too want to do more exploring of it. I can see most of members are from U.S and Canada.
Yes I wish we had red Gti's too.

Speaking of gear oil changes. I've done my second one. Engine oil had a slight colour change. But gear oil I was surprised how much it changed colour.

This is the gear oil I am using. Anyone using this one?

Colour change is from only 600km (373 miles) of riding.   :o

I think your gear oil is fine. I use synthetic for both engine and gear lube. I think most of us in US and Canada do.

Thanks for the info. Reached 100kmh (62 mph) just the other day for the very first time, it was fun.  8) Will take it faster as i put more kilometers on it. Just around 1300km (807 miles) at the moment.
