Fixed Mess-Up
« on: October 27, 2015, 08:48:07 PM »
Installed the clear Ermax this morning.
(in some self defense I'll add that 3 mos ago I was desperate to get the stock screen off and a new short screen on due to the massive turbulance in my helmet from the Suzuki screen. And black was all that was available at the time in this sport screen. Had very good experience with the short stock screen on the Forza.)
The Ermax is a nice screen - fit, finish are excellent...and it is much quieter that the big stock screen. The clear became available and was quickly & safely shipped.

STOCK screen that did not work for me...

BLACK Ermax blocked too much of my hi vis from the front...

CLEAR Ermax installed...

Live & learn.

PS: Burgman panels are SO easy to remove! Using the Canadian Butter Knife from my Kymco box.

It may mess up the look but maybe a little strip of reflective tape somewhere on the front of the bike.

Well, remember this thing runs with full-time dual low beam headlights.
At night I doubt you'd see anything other than those headlights.
From the side I'm adding some of that looks-black white reflecting 3M to the front forks.
Seeing the scoot from the front shouldn't be much of an issue.
The best thing I could add to the front would be a life-size photo of an F-250

I use the high beams to attrack more attention in the daytime (I DON'T flash them - otherwise they might think I'm telling them to go ahead and hit me. Just put them on and leave them on until I'm safely past them.) ...and to check for squirrels 1/2 mile ahead at night.
