Chroming or painting engine covers on Venox
« on: December 25, 2009, 01:27:39 PM »
While I'm here has anyone got photos of their bike after chroming the engine plates. I heard a few guys in North America have done it and some Kymco dealers even offer it free. I'm thinking of doing it, but cost is a factor and am also concerned over whether the chroming will peel off.

I believe the edge of the fins on Obnoxious (or George's other bike) have been painted, if you google "PIWY venox cooling fins" you should be able to find it.
Chroming would be pretty cool, and anything free is awesome. If you hear more let us know =)

On 'YelloNox' the fins were painted with high temp paint.

On 'OBnoXious' they were painted then ''chrome'' trim added to the edges. This gives them more depth then just paint.
The 'chrome' trim is car door edge trim...
