...can barely hear it run...thot it had died...
« on: December 30, 2009, 01:03:02 AM »
...so i'm riding in traffic..in a 45 zone today....gotta good tail-wind and i'm catching a hellacious draft from the line of cars in front of me...we're all travelling down somewhat of a decline...I look down and my speedometer needle is OVER the white tenths of a kilometer on my odometer, so we're doing well over 50 mph....i'm hitting speeds that i've never hit before, and i can just BARELY even hear my engine running...

..i mean it's almost completely silent..and sssso smooth...

..kinda freaked me out...

..anybody ever experienced that before??????????????

From the sound in your video awhile back, It sounded like you had her purring like a kitten!  Gotta remember mine is a 2-stroke also.  I've considered riding with ear plugs!  On a long ride, my ears are ringing afterwards!
