« on: November 18, 2015, 11:26:26 PM »
Just got my 2016 200i and this year's model includes stripes lots of pinstripes definitely an overkill on stripes I think and the colors out for 2016 are Metallic Gold Red White and Matte Black I've already put 150 miles on it and plan on a short trip up to Tarpon Springs this weekend weather allowing.

Jade, that is a pretty scooter!...and of course any Italian will tell you-- the stripes make itgo faster! :-) (checkered stripe on your helmet?....even faster!)
The LIKE200i is great in red.....the color I chose, until I spotted the 2 color LX way over ny the helmets. "Tear up that paperwork! Start again on the LX!"
You simply cannot go wrong with a red scooter! Kymco does a very nice red on some of their scooters.
Good for you and your dealer....getting back on a LIKE200i.
If the seat is OK for you - it is a super ride in an urban area.
Some like to improve on the tires, others are OK with them. Careful in the wet.
Down the road, a set of Michelin City Grips will impress you as well.
I use a flashlight when filling, and stop below that bar in the tank....still not sure if it causes a problem, but to be safe...I stop filling there. But you know all of this.
Happy for you. It is a fine scooter....and the red ones run the best.
Enjoy, and safe goofing down there in Florida!! :-)
Stig
PS: keep posting pix of scooter and Florida! My wife brings back sand every vacation. Slowly moving St Pete Beach to Ohio! Keep that under your helmet.....

Thanks Stig I think it's a cute bike as well and the color red for 2016 looks like a Chinese red you know that bright red in color as for the seat NO I cannot find comfort in it but hey there's a place near me that customizes seats so somewhere in the future I will be taking it there and seeing if I can have it redone in the past I have had my motorcycle seat redone by them and  they did a good job ......as for the tires yes they will be replaced as well with the Michelins but that's after my tires need replacement and that's a definite on the Michelin City Grips.

PS. Stig everyone needs a bit of Florida in their home state Happy Riding 8)

Congratulation on the Red Machine. I have nearly 12,000 miles on my original tires. It's time to replace. There seems to be 3 tire brands that people choose for scooters. Michelin, Perilli and Heidenau. From what I've found Pirelli wear out the fast followed by Michelin then Heidenau.

There are some who use K62 for the rear and K58 for the front. I'm going to look into that when it comes time to buy.

When my rear City Grip expires in a few mos. - I'm going to give some serious thought to these Heidenau tires.
Like the remarks!
However, the front City Grip looks like it will last at least until The Rapture.
Thanks for the post RED422.
