Now I feel a bit tired of Kymco's bs. I do not know if you read that, but I have few days ago installed 781x20 mm belt and it snapped.
Kymco claims that its 23100-KEC4-9000 is 781x20x30x9.5 mm.
I wonder now is it because I bought 781x20 mm belt instead of God_knows_which_one_is_correct.
Now I see this manual where it seems it is 17 mm and who knows what the correct length is...
I am sick of Kymco's bs, monopoly situation in spare parts, I am slightly sick of nuts and bolts costing 20 US$ per piece, substandard quality of casting, rusty parts and general lack of quality, support, correct information in their own manuals that is preferably not in Chinglish or anything else...
Maybe I will cool off until tomorrow.
WTF THEN IS THE CORRECT BELT SIZE FOR A125?!?!?!?
AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
No need to cool off. I can pick up spare bolts from the Honda fiche and order them up. The thread patterns are similar.
I plan on getting a 120mm variator and want a larger belt so it has the length to ride all the way at the edge of it. I want to pop 75 downhill :-) A short case gy6 long blocks are 300 bucks online delivered. Boom, done. 150cc, 180cc kits of kick ass-ness. Cams, polished and ported heads.... blah blah. Custom header pipes. Cheap hobbie when still compared to Japan, or a Motorcycle from Japan. Geez, look at a Harley, I could have 10 scooters for 1 Harley Road King.... lol.
I wrench on my Ruckus all the time, so time to tweak the Kymco. NCY variator/clutch kit coming soon. I need a belt that rolls all the way up.
Do ya think 810 or 815 would be too long? Is an 800mm big enough I'm sure if you keep between 18-20mm width, yer good. I'm gonna throw in a Kevlar Kitaco Zoomer/Ruckus belt. Don't know the exact size, thinkin 790'ish x 19 width. I'll give it a try. I should have the kit soon and will post results. The belt size doesn't compensate for the lack of speedo calibration. 60 = 54-55. 50 = 46-47 / GPS speed. Figure you need to hit 75mph indicated to achieve 65. Doesn't do well either that the odometer is putting on more miles than you ride. See, I can bitch too... haha!
All is all the Agility still kicks ass! It rocks!
