Gone too soon. Glenn Frey and the Eagles are the soundtracks of my life. I'm glad I got to see them live. Great performances! I have nothing but fond memories when I hear such songs as Peaceful Easy Feeling and Take It Easy both sung by Glenn Frey.

Rest in Peace Glenn Frey.

Got to see them in concert last May. Just fantastic! What a loss, but what great music and memories.

Too right guys. What a crap start to 2016 music wise ... first Bowie , now Glenn Frey .. what the hecks going on ???
But , I guess we should feel bloody privelged ... apparently the world is supposed to be 50 billion years old or some sh** like that , and we were lucky enough to have been around at the same time as when these guys were doing their thing.

I saw the Eagles in concert in MASS. , May 1973. They were the warm-up band for Rod Stewart !
Rod was lousy - drunk & could barely remember his lyrics - but the Eagles put on a great 3/4hr of music.
He was one of the few important musicians who was not performing with these old all-stars, or during the evening .
