Slipping
« on: January 19, 2016, 10:47:35 PM »
Hi all

Got a 2012 Agility 50 and just had the crankshaft bearings replaced.

When riding now I get a slipping sensation occasionally.

Then today it was squealing and wouldnt pull away.

Does the back wheel turn when idling? Or should it be stationary?

Any help appreciated

Stationary although some will turn slowly or intermittently when idling on the centerstand. I will bet your clutch is slipping. It may be contaminated with grease or oil.

Thanks Karl

Took it back to the garage who did the crankshaft.

The oil seal had allowed oil to get into the crankcase cover and had contaminated the belt and clutch.

Being sorted now!
