Agility 50 shutting off at high throttle.

I was riding my Agility 50 in autumn when this started happening. Since it was nearly winter i just put my scooter in the garage to deal with it when its scooter season again. Now the winter has ended and i need to fix the problem.

When i apply about 1/2 of the throttle it starts to shut off. What could be the cause and what could be the solutions?

If this is occurring only while the engine is warming up . . could just be cold fuel not atomizing well.  Have you verified carb jets are not obstructed, inspected diaphragm for tears (if not rising properly), and checked inlet and exhaust valve clearances?
