300cc cylinder kit on Xciting 250
« on: February 12, 2016, 09:47:56 PM »
Hello everyone.
I'm thinking of upgrading my Xciting 250 with big bore 300cc cylinder kit.
Is anybody here who has someone experience in this area?
Please come with suggestions.

Hey Billi. You probably are not going to like what I have to say but I have to tell you my opinion. If you want a 300cc scoot, sell your Xciting and save a little more money and buy one man. In the end it will be cheaper, better performing, and more reliable than what you have in mind. These scooters require such a fine equilibrium between the engine, electronics,  drive train, intake and exhaust, to perform well that once you mess with one of these things, it effects all of the others.  And then you will be on a never-ending problem solving search to fix what wasn't broken in the first place. I don't mean to sound harsh but, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend." I wish you the best in whatever you decide. Keep riding!

What Mr. Paul said. Unless of course you would rather walk and just work on the scoot......
