Crossbolt....you machine has a sight glass? Hmm...never saw one in this type of motorized vehicle. Mine has a very difficult to reach short little tiny dip stick that is cream colored white and hard as hell to see the oil mark when the oil is clean. It is something you should check often and it is almost impossible to reach and oh ....ya got to screw it in and out!! Not a smart design there.
