Clean scoots
« on: February 23, 2016, 07:04:18 PM »
Sunny day so washed the scoots and changed the oil.....wish there was on of those Taiwanese scooter wash / oil change shops nearby. Lot of bending and getting in the small spots.

Looks great Stig! I have thought of maybe building a small platform I could drive my scooter up to get it about 3.5 feet off the ground.  The older I get, the more I hate bending. Glad you are enjoying nice weather today. It is drizzly and cool down here in Ga.

MSLF Carolina Scooter Club and Carolina Zoomers rode out on sat and I washed an waxed scoot only to have throttle cable break during ride so rode back one handed with left hand pulling carb cable out side of scooter lol worked all night on it didn't even wash it for sundays smaller ride but I still need those crash bars you got.

Yep, looked like you had that throttle cable guitar-string tight keeping up with the other's.
Pretty fast scoot after starting with a 50cc LIKE.
Bought most of the crash bars through Moxie Scoots in TX. Decorative only - but I'm OK with that - was after a Vespa/Lambretta look. (my fav kind of scooter design - and some say our LIKE's are a design blend of the two)

Interesting that both these scoots have front wheel off ground on center stand.

Beautiful machines but they also got more engine than mine and also their center stand is way forward of mine even so mine almost does that it's pretty back heavy. I love those bars and I just installed BBK mon night so now I'll be good for city and long distance cruising.

Those side by side shots really give a good comparison of the size difference between the two scooters. Beautiful bikes you have there, Stig!
