Haha!  I use my center for warming up the scoot in the morning though, and also tuning!

..i can't remove my center stand...

..i removed my kick-stand because it kept scrubbing on left hand turns...

hey guys, i know an old thread but, when i put my rear tire on, i never noticed till i was leaning back stretching out completely that the same bolt hole that skaka was talking about for the fan shroud actually rubbed an indention in my tire. its the material that the bolt threads in on the back left side... that way sucked!!!    can i trim that off some????....shaka, you took your front fender off?? doesnt it look odd???

Do you have the stock size tires on your scoot?  Are you saying it rubbed the rear tire?  You can't really get away with grinding off the material on the rear.  That is the point where the air fan shroud attaches.  I don't have front or rear fenders on mine.  My front one was cracked in half when I bought the scoot, so I just took it off.  I actually cut it and reshaped it, but I never got around to finishing it.  I don't really think it looks funny.  My scoot is nothing pretty to look at anyways! ;)  The previous owner beat the $h*t out of it!!!  I've found that the less attention I draw to my SCREAMING scoot the better!!!  Keeps the cops at bay, at least for the most part! ;D

There was a small bung on my engine case that rubbed the tire. It was on the left side of the case, just off from the center of the tire. I ground that down about 3/16".

yes, i have upgraded to bigger size tire 130  120. yeah, the piece of material is ON THE CASE. the shroud screw bolts to IT.. CLOSE ASS FIT ANYWAY. didnt do it untill i stretched out/back on my ride home.. the back left side, just a lil tit that sticks out so the left side shroud can screw tight...   yeah, it put a groove AROUND WHOLE DAM TIRE...

I just touched it a few times w/ a right angle grinder. I thought mine would clear too. When the tire heats up it does expand about 1/4". You can take it right down to the threaded bolt, and still be good. Just use a dab of Lok Tite on the bolt.

I haven't had any problems with mine hitting that bolt nub.  I have gotten a little rubbing on the right side edge where it rubs the center stand a little.  I've noticed it only really seems to be an issue if my tire pressure drops below 30 psi.  I haven't gotten around to taking the center stand back off to grind on it a little.  That spring is a b*tch to take on and off!!!
