Hi All,
I’m a newbie who is thinking of buying a 2001 Zing 125cc as my first bike. Would you recommend this... is the zing an easy bike to learn on?
Any advice would be much appreciated or any tips on what to look out for when buying a zing?
Thanks
Personally, I would not buy it, but the reasons are not Kymco-related, rather "125 cc custom related".
I would rather buy 125 cc scooter than 125 cc custom bike. Even 125 cc "cross" or "offroad" bike like Yamaha TW125 (had it before...) would be a better option.
125 cc customs are slow, have weak brakes, you have to shift all the time (and there is no need for a manul gearbox @125 cc), they handle poorly and they are even worse if you drive a passenger. In fact, they share a lot of traits with bigger custom bikes too.
Yet, the people are different, "your mileage may vary".
