Starting w/ the obvious, have you tried a new spark plug?. The only other thought I have is The new stator you tried. Who made it, and what is the part #. It is possible it took out the cdi. Look thru your manual to see if there is a resistance test for the cdi, and check that. I will look around to see if I can find some better advice for you, and post back this evening.

I dont have the tester for the cdi, I was thinking it maybe the cdi as well but dont want to buy one unless im sure it is the problem I just posted on scooterinvasion so im waiting for a response.  I am completely baffeled.  I am willing to try some things before i take it somewhere but options are running out,  Its probably goning to cost like 80 bucks to get checked out.  If I was getting spark the scoot SHOULD have started when I sprayed the Ethonol in the carb might not of stayed running but would have fired up right???
