Please be careful w/ front end geometry. Hard pack is one thing, and "dimples" in the road are another. Get used to it, before you start running hard. Wanna see you post from home, not the Hospital.

Whoa!  That looks like it made a big difference!  Looks like it did more than a 1.5" between the wheel and body, probably more like 2.5" or more actual.  I'm sure it will handle much quicker now with the steeper head tube angle!  Looks good, keep us updated on the changes in handling!

I have been looking for a longer, more progressive rear shock. There are dozens to choose from, but how do you know which one is right w/out trying. Thought about the spacer, but it wont change the rate. (very cool though).

...okay, so it's my opinion that agil (the original extender idea-guy) was spot-on...

..the first thing i noticed was the view!...amazing the difference..like stepping into a pair of platform shoes....

..agil's was what looked to be 1", and my version actuallyraises the seat 1-5/8"..

..cornering responsiveness quickened significantly, and I have experienced no ill effects whatsoever..

..really wound her out yesterday, on some swoopy, curvy roads..I really like the feel the scoot has in the turns..it feels more confident...

..awaiting my Avon Viper Stryke rear tire...ordered it two days ago...that's going to be the real test..

..i'm kinda like shaka, there's a cpl of curves that i haven't been able to take without dropping the throttle back...almost made one of them yesterday, but i chickened out...

..final word on the lift kit is that it's a permanent addition to my scoot...just one more free mod that made things a little bit better...

peace

That's good to hear. Mods are always better when they are just about free. The taller tire gave almost the same result on the zx.

That's great!  I think you will really like the Avon on the rear as well, I know I love them!  I noticed the larger size tire in the rear did make a difference in the handling as well.  It probably steepened the head tube angle by a degree.  Slinger you got me a little curious about making a lift for mine as well, especially after the positive review!  I also had some extensions welded to the feet of my center stand to raise the rear tire off the ground.  I haven't had a chance to re-mount it, but it looks like it will work perfect!  I kinda like not having it on there because I don't have to put the scoot on the center stand to use the kickstart so I haven't been that motivated to re-install it.

..yeah, i've been running a 130/70-12 on the rear all along..

..i too added some to the bottom of my center stand...

..all i did was cut two 1" X 1" pieces of thinwall square tubing..

..welded them to the feet right there on th scoot..lol..

..when I get 'm painted, i'll take a pic...
