Getting my Agility 50 de-restricted
« on: March 01, 2010, 08:25:57 PM »
Hey I am taking my Agility 50 into the dealer today and they are going to de-restrict my scooter for me.  How long should this job take for someone who knows what they are doing?  I just don't want them to screw me over on price since they charge 60$ an hour.

...one hour tops, for the and variator and cdi...

...if i wanted to, i could do them in 30 minutes...

..if they change the main jet, add another hour...

..they're probably going to break it down into two processes...cvt and carb....

..i'd bet they're probably gonna charge an hour of labor for both processes...

I had this done on my scooter, when I had the 50 version, changing the boss in the variator should take ten mins tops, doing the cdi took my local scooter crook 5 minutes to cut a wire inside it. You could do the variator bit yourself if you have an impact wrench :)
Scooters are designed to be thrashed, you might as well test the design out :D

Always on the top speed run ;P
