what up word?   art?? thanks for the replys, sorry i missed you last eve.. i was getting my belt cover polished, looking WAY FKN GOOD!!!!..not perfect like areomysts cover but i am digging this mod.                                  anyway, i put in some 8 rollers... still seem to have a touch belt tug/slippage, runs good, have the high rpms BUT the ACTUALL takeoff osnt there..seems to still have slow take off, goes real good to 20-25, falls off a bit with a steady climb till 45, then it takes a stretch to get my 49-50.    wonder what a 1000 spring would do???....... instead of answering your spring there, ill answer here...................thanks for the correction.. but my oem, ncy springs are the same..malossi, leo are shorter, no wonder they are a pain... i picked up a set of red flys sat, (ncy), they fit fairly easy, cuz of the longer hook...sending my malossi ones w/airfilter back and order the malossi reed cage instead....hope it works good.....

You were getting your belt cover polished(on the bike I assume  ;D) Here's a link to something on the cvt Im sorta starting to make sense off  ;)  Somwhere in there  there is a paragraph on maintaining a constant rpm, power band a soforth. It has put the picture in my mind a little clearer as to what we're shooting for. Not the way I was thinking it worked overall with no exp in these things. now i hope it works in practice .    http://site.g-forcepowersports.com/CVTTune.pdf

Ha! if ya cought my link and kinda what i figured on my own. Carb must be dialed for best results. Been running the same circle. My guess for yours  if i learned any thing is heavier contra and lighter rollers, the fly's will delay or shorten the grab once it grabs DON'T matter back to your weights and tuneing. HA! all theary at this point. Playing with some thing else today.  Got to post the fun I've been having with the geely.
