New Decals
« on: March 09, 2010, 12:40:45 AM »
G'Day all, I found some decals at our local cheap shop. I couldn't resist, had to put them on. Along with some small flames down the sides I have put this woman on the front. I think she looks pretty cool. I don't know how long they will last, just have to wait and see. I tried to post some pics yesterday but they were oversize.

Yours is the same color as mine, but in waaay better condition!  Mine was beat to hell by the previous owner!  All my plastics are cracked and scratched!  I go more for the sleeper look I guess!  Although, it didn't help when I got pulled over today! :P

Yeah, we've had this scooter for a little over a year, it was about 2 years old when we got it. It does have a few scratches but nothing bad.

Haha!  No!  Sorry about the thread jack, but here's the story!

I was cruising through the UNCW campus when I pulled out behind an unmarked car from a stop sign.  I went a ways further, stopped at another stop sign, made a left, still behind po po.  We came to a red light.  Po po signals left, I signal right and pull around them.  I make a stop and wait for an oncoming truck then pull in behind the truck.  Po po decides to follow me right with lights a blaze!  I figure, "I've done nothing wrong, must be after the truck in front of me" so I keep going.  We are all coming up on another stop sign, the cops honk their horn, I look back and motion me?  He points to me, so I stop.  The po po man asks me if I know why he stopped me.  Of course, I have no idea!  He says the speed limit is 25 mph, he was doing 28 mph, I was behind him.  I laugh and say, "and?"  Well, "and" I made an illegal right hand turn at the light by passing him.  Trying real hard not to laugh, I say "OK, and?"  He said, "You don't see anything wrong with that"?  I say, "No, I didn't know that was an illegal turn, and I was going 3mph over the speed limit, but Ok"!  I give him my ID, I don't have a license.  He goes back to his car while his partner keeps me company, asking all sorts of questions about the scoot.  Then back-up arrives!  The trunk on the initial car pops open, po po gets out to get a file!  I'm thinking "Oh $h*t, I wasn't even doing anything!"  To make a long story, well long.  After about 10 more mins.  po po gets out and gives me my id back, tells me to be safe, and I'm on my again!  I really hate cops! >:(  F.T.P!!!!!

I removed the flames soon after putting them on. They were on backwards, doh! The lady is still on the front though.

Thanks batman, yeah, the flames went. I have got some silver pinstriping coming. Yep, the bbk kit, I have decided to split the cases to open the inlet up, that might utilise the 24mm carb better.

With regard to the cyl. kit, it was a headache, but now, it would be a whole lot easier. This forum and the members who make are completely friggin awesome.
