How much to replace all the plastic?

My X500 fell off of the side stand today, scrapping almost every piece of plastic (front fender, fairing, back panel, blck plastic on running boards) and bending the left brake handle.

Anyone have any idea how much it is going to cost to replace it all?

I was looking for a black scoot originally, and now I have to replace almost everything. There is a deep scrape on the back right panel that was going to be fixed under warranty, so I am considering replacing everything with black except for the passenger hand rail (not damaged) and the small piece of plastic just underneath. That would result in a black bike with a red back handrail.

Needless to say, I am not a happy camper tonight.

What color is your bike and can you get pictures sorry about this sad fall. Read my post about my brakes and you will understand. Also I have been looking everyone is about the same price on the panels as far as I can tell I am looking for several pieces myself

It will be much less expensive to have the body work done, and re spray the panels. I would guess $250-300.00 vs ?

I don't have pictures, yet. My insurance is a $250 deductible, so I'm thinking panel replacement is the way to go. OTOH, I'll have the panels so I might be able to fix and paint those, and I'll be able to change colors. ....

... hmmmmmm ...  :-)

Insurance!!! Ah... Two sets of pannels does sound mighty tempting. Day Glo Pink for the girlie day out, and flat black covered w/ skulls for the Hood rides.

Buy new deep red panels, and paint the old ones gloss black.

... Drum Roll...
To replace all the plastic on the right side (including the front fender and fairing)....
... $960.76.  $Of that, $523.91 is the plastic.

I'll be talking to my insurance guy Monday or Tuesday afternoon.
