...hmm..without knowing what jet you currently have...its hard to say...
..a free-flow air filter will help some..then you would need to re-jet...
..the biggest performance increasing mod i made was a Malossi Multivar variator, which comes with a white "1000" main torque spring...
..that put me up to 50 mph indicated right outta th' box...
..though i'm now running 4.7 gram rollers instead of the stock 6 gr...

...have you checked your tire pressures?
..i know that may sound obvious, but these scoots are sensitive to tire pressure...
..I still have the stock exhaust on my 08, and so far, even with all my other mods, it's worked out ok...
..as for your cdi, try "
http://www.stadiumyamaha.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/73/0/432/3/default.aspx
"
..their part # for the cdi is 30410...

Wow! I'm sure myself or one of the others wouldn't mind boxing one up and shipping it to you! It's gotta cost less than $98 to do it that way!

Not right ...UNLESS... there is something else not allowing your scoot to get to top rpm's . Try a down hill run, and see if the engine sort of studders. It should just keep pulling, and not hesitate. Can you post picts. of the cdi? In the scoot?
