Question about parts
« on: April 01, 2010, 05:24:15 AM »
hello everyone..
My question is about parts.. i talked to a few people about kymco scooters and they have told me that there isnt much after market parts for it mainly because they tend to not fit... SO my question is that are the 50cc Agility parts interchangeable with other 50cc scooters?

There are a handful of good websites that offer kymco aftermarket parts.  I always make sure the parts I get are compatible with my scooter before I buy them.  Most 50cc scooters are 2 stroke I have not heard of too many brands besides kymco that offers 4 stroke 50cc motors correct me if i am wrong i havent really looked into it too much.  I do know this I rebuilt my motor and found all the parts I needed including an aftermarket big bore kit.  If you need places to order parts let us know and we can give you some sites, also google parts kymco agility and sites will come up.  Just make sure that the parts will work with your bike before buying!

..there are some parts from other scoots that'll fit the KYMCOS..I have the brake pads from an 05 Marshin on my A50...lol..

..I could use it's clutch, starter, various switches etc...

..stadiumyamaha.com can ship you damn near a whole scoot in pieces if you wanted them too...

..the SYM Symply is almost a twin to the Agility, and is right up there in quality too..

..And that's just it, when you buy a KYMCO, you're buying one of the best out there...

How long did the frond pads last? My gf'ÅŸ A125 has 14.500 kms and they seem to last forever.
The same question for rear shoes.

Jesus Mr F. Christ! 40K?!?!

On Bev200 they lasted close to 18K and I considered that to be a lot.
On Piaggio NRG50 you have to change them every 4K km! And I am not talking about insane driving, but normal!!!

Hi ricko, I posted but it did not show. There are TONS of after market parts for your scoot. I think there are 3-4 different brands for most every wearable part on the scoot. The source that said there are no parts was thinking about those other Chinese junk scoots, Not ours.
