When the fuel tank is topped up, the gauge is dead.

..do you mean that it registers empty?..or full?

..when i fill my tank, the needle sit at full, but it does take a while befor the needle begins to drop..

..also noticed that it will drop a good way past E (@ 1/4") and still have a bit of fuel in the tank...
..every mod (action) necessitates a (reaction) mod..
