I've been reading about some of the mods that a few of the members have done to their bikes. The backrest sounds like a good idea, and I've copied the link. However, are their any more modification pieces & parts out there that will work on an X-500? I've owned mine since Feb. of this year, and would like to dress it up a little. New hand grips to help defeat "numb thumb" while on long rides would be a great addition. Also, looked on-line at a cruise control made by BrakeAway Products in Portland, Oregon. (They have not made one specifically for the X-500 yet, so if anyone in the forum lives in Portland, would you mind stopping by there so they can test one on your bike?)
Any help on or info about "bling" items would be greatly appreciated. (When my X grows up, it would like to be a Goldwing...)
