MOT today guys
« on: April 12, 2010, 03:37:41 PM »
my agility passed its mot today, for you guys over the pond thats a roadworthyness test we have to put all our vehicles in for when there over 3 years old.

It had a slight weep on the fork leg thats all.

I did notice that idle was all over the place but other than that i got 45mph out of her and 40 on the slight inclines which isnt bed to be honest.

She is ever so slightly lean as i still have the 80 jet in her (the 88 was jsut too rich) but other than that shes good to go. What size jet should i go for next? is it worth tryin an 82 or just go for an 84?

...i would go with the 84, as erring on the rich side is ever the better way to run...

Checked the valve clearnces today and they seemed to be a bit tight, I only had a 0.05 feeler so I set it to that but so it was a little tight to get in and out.

Also found my set of little drills for pcb and was going to drill my 80 out to an 82 but found the drill would already fit in the jet so I went out to an 85 which just took a little push while spinning it and it was through.

Seems to run lovely now very quiet and ticks over at very low revs very steady.

I didnt take it for much of a run but it seemed ok a bit sluggish on choke but got more powerful as it warmed, I had the feeling it liked what i had done to it.
