boxes are done
« on: April 14, 2010, 09:30:22 PM »

view from the front

and one from the side

we used 3 clamps on each side and one on the back

to keep the boxes spaced apart we drilled 2 matching holes in each box ran a bolt through each one and put a nut a 2 washers between them

now i just have to mount locks and paint them but that will be after Friday

now for the paint job should i make them all blue all black or make them blue and black split diagonal

That's a nice job Bro! The idea sounded Getto, but the result is really cool! I like that you used Nylok Nuts... Shows you used your noodle! I think the diag. paint scheme would blend in w/ the style of the scoot best. Sort of continue the lines as it were. Definitely Impressed!  Just looked again, The brake light might not be visable to an SUV, or taller truck. You may want to look at that yourself. Post back w/ the paint. Another after thought...One for light beer, and one for Imports!   Now I LOVE IT!!!

No Doubt! W/ the boxes installed you don't have to worry about the "skunk stripe". You could make a cool little bracket to hang the tag from under the boxes.
