Congrats on the variator bushing and new found speed!  I see you caught the "tuning" bug!  Next step would be tuning the cvt for a bit quicker acceleration.  You can go a little lighter on the rollers for better acceleration throughout the range and stiffer on the clutch fly springs for the quick launch off the line.  I would think about 1g lighter on the rollers and 1500 fly springs.  Once you find the optimum roller weight I recommend getting some Dr. Pulley sliders in that weight.  They will give you smoother acceleration and an extra 1-3 mph possibly on the top.  Beyond that you're looking at a new exhaust and open K&N type air filter accompanied by up-jetting the carb.

...you definately want lighter rollers with your 4t...get's those rpms up, and all 4t's have an issue with keeping revved...

..that's how i can tell when i've got anything wearing...

..my scoot's "rev-ability" drops....

..then it's just a small matter of determining what's causing the drop-off...

That is 1 I don't know. maybe someone else, or try Kymco USA Tech support. ( I would call)

I emailed them and here was thier response
I apologize but we are unable to discuss this operation with anyone other than our dealer network. Please contact your authorized KYMCO USA dealer for information on this subject.

Looks like no help from them. Theres an authorized kymco guy  not far from my job may swing by there one day

Yes they will! You will not see the full top end performance, but will gain on acell.  Once the cdi is done the scoot will just open up for you.

I have decided that I am going to put some Dr. Pulley Sliders in the Vitality.  I am thinking 4.7 grams.   Any advice on where to get these?  Am I going to lose top speed?  Anyone know what size roller I need in a 2006 Kymco Vitality 4t?  15x12 ?

...yeah, i'm liking my 4.7s pretty well...

..but i think 4.5s and a 1500 spring might get th' rpms up better on the bottom and mid ranges...

..i wanna try it..

..hey zombie, the malossi variator is 90mm...

The last was looking for the dimensions of the rollers. 16mmx?     15mmx?  There MAY be an over-range clutch to go w/ the 95mm var. I'll start looking...

Anybody know or where a good place to start looking on the web for the dimensions of the rollers in a Vitality 4t?  Or where to buy a cheaper Electric or Battery Operated Impact Wrench.  I don't think my Air Compressor is big enough to drive an impact...

The impact comes from Harbor Freight. It's under $40.00. I'll look for the roller size.   http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=6250279     16x13mm
