zx50 highests speed reached?

hi im just curious on the high speed you folk reached with your modded zx50?
i own a sym dd50 but it has the same motor i was able to reach 67mph today.

67mph was my best speed to date. 04'zx... New kit, and all the goodies. 64mph is my regular top today.

I'm at about 58 mph tops or slightly above 90 kmh.

Well, I'm making about 80kmh, at a struggle, funny, because that was what I was getting with just derestricting the cdi. But , when I get the chance I will be playing with the head and barrel spacers again. Tomorrow afternoon if all goes well. My previous best was needle pointing to the oil warning light. Can't wait to get back there. :)

hey bat what have u done to ur zx min will only top out between 40 and 45 on flat and just over 45 downhill

Yeah, I removed 1 base gasket, 0.4mm, gave me more comp. but detonation. Will ask more about it on my zx50 thread when I am ready to work on it further.

Since removing the gasket the speed is up so when I go to the 7 gram rollers I should be cruisin' pretty well. When you say "getting the heat down" how would you work that? I do have a BR9 plug but if I remember rightly it is not in at the moment. I am using 40:1 fuel / oil, synthetic 2~stroke and the highest octane rated fuel available at the garage, I use Shell V~Power, 98 ron, is same as BP Ultimate,
Caltex Vortex. The funny thing is that my highest speed which was the needle pointing to the oil warning light was achieved before raising the cylinder.
i sometimes wonder if we have the same speedo/dash setup so I will take a pic and post it up. :)

Here is a pic of my dash, the top speed was not actually to the oil light but to the handle of the oil can.

well, its less than these guys ...lmao... but imagine that, ever since i started playin, she seems to have slowed a touch,.. i would swear the 1500 springs thruout contributed to that speed... i have a ramp plate, malossi rollers,springs. adige(gonna put in my motorio) clutch, gates performance belt, technigas next exhaust,(removed a few extra unneeded pounds),130/70 12...120/70- 12 tires, rejetted carb/open filter...i think thats all to this point... will have two more goodies coming real soon...lmao....    i would swear that she changes daily up herw in the mtns..idk.. i know im at a higher sea level than most here, sooooo, any suggestions?? it was a good day THAT day...
