true but what really effects it so much is it the conditions?  what kind of load it has to carry?

i am sorry if i ask alot of questions but i am a little ocd when it comes to learning stuff i don't just want to learn what works but i want to know why it works because sometimes that's what really matters

...conditions is exactly right!!!

..there are so many variables to consider...

..quoting another setup may work for your scoot...may not...

..the basic principles of tuning your carb and cvt will hold true, no matter what conditions are introduced...

...that's a good starting point, but you need not "hope"..

...you can verify your setup by doing chops....

...you can use the same plug for more than one chop...

..the condition of the plug changes most drastically...

..wire brush...some carb cleaner and a rag...either or...

..but even without the cleaning,, your plug will change appearance from situation to situation...

...i've chopped a plug at idle, and it shows slightly rich...put it right back in, and haul ass down the road for a WOT chop, and it show to be lean...

...if you're getting a lot of carbon...black buildup... on your WOT chops, then you are rich on the top end...

..you should drop a size on your main jet...
