I just changed my motor oil at 100km.   A bit early but o well.  Says there is suppose to be some kind of filter?  But i don't see it on either end...

..the only filter on the A50 is a screen that drops down from where you remove the hex-plug....

..it has a rubber seal on top of it...when you remove the drain plug, the screen comes out of the crankcase next....

Crap... i didn't notice any kind of screen.  Is it flat?  Also, would i be ok without it?

Yep.  I'll go fish in the bucket that i drained everything in, and see if its in there.  If not, i'll just assume its in the crankcase.  *crosses fingers*
