Hi all,
I have been riding my 500R for a couple of months and love it (when the snow ever stops that is). I'm looking forward to all the info I can get from this forum. I live in Pueblo, Colorado and also ride an Aprilia Scarabeo 200.

Welcome TP and you are near some great riding country. Been out there on my bike and love the country. Too bad it takes two days of hard riding just to get there from here. Have you taken the 500 up Pikes Peak yet? Post some pictures...

I haven't taken the Kymco up Pikes Peak yet althought I have climbed it 3 times. Once from the back side and twice from the front. For sure it will be a future ride.
I went to Colorado Springs today to pick up my Kymco from the shop. About a week ago I had a scary flat going about 75 on I-25. I got it pulled over in time. Man it was going flat fast. Must have hit a bolt from the size of the hole. Can anyone tell me a good place to get tires for the scoot. $130 a pops going to get old quick and I would like to have an extra front and rear waiting for the next time. Hopefully there won't be one.
I want to post some photos but I don't know how to upload them from my hard drive. I mean come on it can't be that hard. So any help will be appreciated. I am a photographer after all.

I followed the link to your pics. Nice 500 you got there! I'm about to order a Shinko rear tire from Motorcycle Superstore for $41.99. They've got the matching front tire also. If you order over $75 worth of stuff, shipping is free. A local dealer (not a Kymco dealer) will install it for ten bucks if I bring him the wheel off the scoot.

I can recommend Motorcycle Superstore also. I bought a set of Michelin Gold Standard Touring tires for about 1/2 the price per tire you payed. Very good tires so far. Good ride & so on. Google a product called ride on for flat's & to balance your tires. Ride on work's much better than slime & does not dry out. Also on the site of MCSS there is a place you can click on, put in your zip code, & it will give you a list on recommended tire installers. I found a place through them about 1 mile from my home. I made an appointment, rode the bike in, sat, & about an hour or so latter rode out with 2 new tires mounted & balanced for $70.00
