The only side case mounts I have seen for the X500 are  from Kymco Germany. The address is in another thread in the forum. I emailed them and received no reply. I'm going to have to email them again. I'd rather have side cases than a top case, if I had the choice.

As far as emailing a German company, I did that too and got no reply -- so I thought!  Checked my IP provider's (ATT/Yahoo) spam folder 6 weeks later and discovered the reply sitting there.  Never made it to my inbox.

I have no idea how to check for a spam folder with Comcast.

here it is:   http://www.kymco.de/fileadmin/user_upload/PDF/zubehoer/KYMCO_ZUBEHOER-ZWEIRAD_0902.pdf

Hans

Thanks, Hans...

I have that PDF, and I emailed Kymco Germany, but I didn't get a reply.

The side cases are  E21 Givi. I'm not sure what hardware they are using for the top case.

At the moment, I have the Kymco backrest. What I'd really like is to have the side cases on more or less permanently, and then put the top case on when I want/need the extra storage. I think the mounting hardware shown in the PDF could be used with the Kymco backrest/topcase mount hardware.

Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to contact the company.

Who is your email account with, Rick?  If Comcast, then have they got a webmail page?  That's where you'd check.  Of course, many people use third parties to do their emailing -- such as yahoo, hotmail, etc.  In that case go there and look for some tab or link or button labeled spam or junk.

I use the Outlook Express that came with my Windows XP.  It connects to my account with ATT and brings the mail in to my computer without me doing anything.  That's real common, I'm sure.  The thing is, that ATT has spam filters that don't allow everything through -- which is fine if I'd remember to go there once in a while and see what's been filtered out.

Hoolander,

Comcast does have a Webmail interface, but I have a pop account with them. I'll take a look and see if I can find a junk mail folder.

I just used Kymco's contact page again, asking for ordering info. I indicated they can contact me via email. I don't remember checking that box the last time, and I think the default is phone. I doubt that they won't call Florida :-)

I got an email reply from info@kymco.de:

At first thanks for your enquiry.
We, the company MSA Motor Sport Accessoires Ltd., are the importer for the brand KYMCO in Germany and Czech Republic.
US has an own importer. Please contact the importer in the US.
The website called: http://www.kymcousa.com/
Thanks in advance!

Yours sincerely, ...

I wonder where they are getting that side case mount from? Germany is the only place I've seen it. The picture on the fehling site doesn't show the entire luggage rack, so you cant see if the side mount is included.

I got a reply from Fehling. They no longer stock parts for the X500.
