I enjoyed your conversation, and congradulations for not getting nasty and personal. Yes it's natural to defend one's own, but not fair to criticize the other's country, not having been born and lived there. I think it would be nice to blend the best of both systems, but the politicians would muck it up so it'll never happen.

history shows that no country that has had/has a socialist/ communist, etc. system have not prospered well.. the u.s under a capitalist/ free market society has been the leader in the WORLD.(until now)..      yeah, thats true about defending ones own but looking at those systems makes me hope and pray we never end up that way.......thank you, yes it can be difficult not to get "nasty" with politics..lmao.   hmm, i never asked where axy is at anyway.... but oh yeah, bp has alot of blame but our nasty, terrible government deserves alot more.... yes, you could bank on the politicians would screw it up FAST.  its supposed to be WE, THE PEOPLE.......right?!!?!?!?(megadeth even says in a song, rlmao)

How exactly are "free people" supposed to clean up the spill and "bad government" is preventing them to do so?

I would like to notice that adequate amount of economic freedom has driven industry out of our countries, so we socialize on a forum of a far-eastern corporation!

We do not produce anything anymore, we buy what Chinese people are producing, and in case of US, sell debt to Chinese in order to be able to print money.

In case of my country, being small and insignificant, and not issuing M1 currency, even that is not possible. Too much "freedom" has almost left us jobless...
