Tecnigas Trek for People 2T

This review of Tecnigas pipes and the dyno curves made me very interested in the TREK.

RacingplanetUSA was the only place I found in the states that carried it and their price is $175 plus shipping.

Found it on ebay from Germany today for $110 US plus $33 shipping so pulled the trigger.  I also saw it from an Italian dealer that would have been about $165 total.

Anyway, I'm super excited to give it a workout and report back.  Looks like it has a pretty wide power band with peak power around 8500 RPM which should be really good. 

I'm collecting stats now on my scooter (RPM, GPS speed, etc.) I'll report back once I have it installed.

Got my tach today. Riding full throttle up slight incline my revs are just below 7300. Only thing not stock are 6 gram rollers I installed so I could go up hills better.

racing planet USA has almost nothing in US warehouse I garuntee you will have to wait for it shipped from europe. I looked at places for Tecnigas and the best place is Scooter Attack in germany I got my NextR chrome from them and paid just 127 shipped. It took two weeks t get here but the money I saved made it worthwhile.

Ordered off ebay from German company. Will take three weeks to get, but saved quite a bit of money.

That's a good price, I bought 2 Tecnigas Next-R from RacingPlanet for $20 or so more, waited long time to come in.  Nice to know about ScooterAttack.  One thing, US$ is high compared to Euro, so anything from Europe is on sale right now.  Cheers

I saw on 49ccproboards you're getting CHT to test before installing your new pipe.  Very good idea, wish I had done that, would have baseline for Tecnigas pipe and BBK.  I often wish I knew how hot my OEM People 50 2T ran?  I ran it WOT all the time with no problems.

I think my scooter is running lean the way it is and want to get a baseline. Was overheating and dying last summer. Pipe is on the boat and I have another week or so to see where I'm at before installing it

95 and 98 jets arrived today along with a 40 slow jet.

Also got a torch cleaning kit to make other sizes from my stock jet if needed

Pipe should be here within a week.

Noticed the front tire didn't feel right yesterday so checked air in the tires. They were both below 20 psi. Aired them up and the scooter is 3 mph faster. Cheap speed.
