I have a question for everyone, are you calculating the MPG by dividing distance traveled by gallons added as per the odometer or are you dividing distance traveled by 1.6 and then dividing by fuel added. I know this sounds confusing but my Like 200i has an odometer that reads in KM's instead of miles and according to Kymco they are all like that.
My mileage is pretty low in comparison to everyone else, but then again my bike still has under 300 km's.
I'd do the distance traveled on the odometer divided by the amount of fuel put in to fill it up. If that is "miles" on the odometer and "miles per hour" on the speedometer you'll answer will be MPG's. If not -
The conversion formula for kpl to UK mpg is 1 kpl = 2.825 UK mpg
The conversion formula for kpl to US mpg is 1 kpl = 2.352 US mpg
Now if your gas is sold in gallons and your scoot's odometer is in KM's, well sorry - there is NO possible way to figure this out. You'll only pull somethin' if you try.
Like the tourist who walked into a tavern in upstate Vermont one night, and asked, "Say, how do I get to New York City from here?"
The old guy playing cards at the table looked up and told him, "You can't." and went back to his card game.
There you go....
