i have a 03 kymco people 50 2t. my problem is that i get the same speed at 3/4 throttle as i do at full. should i up-jet the main jet. help

i have de-restricted my boss, cdi, and exhaust. i can run about 40 mph on flat.

...with the exhaust restriction eliminated, you may very well need to go up a size or two...

...do a WOT plug chop, and read your plug...that will tell you for sure..

..how many kms on your scoot??

Hey was reading your post.Your top speed should be closer to 45+ if your pipe is a pre 2005 stock model.I would suggest new belt and rollers if you havn't done recently.Stock weights are 8.5,I would run an #85 main jet should get you close to 50mph.This worked for me on my 2002 I'm over 200lbs and of course check your tire pressure A few lbs low affects your top speed greatly.Good luck
