What would be your perfect scooter ?
« on: April 08, 2016, 05:03:46 PM »
I love my Xciting 250 . But it's a little Underpowered. But an Xciting 500 would be overkill. I like what I've read from everyone concerning the Downtown concerning its performance, reliability,  and fuel economy . And it's not much lighter than the Xciting 250. So performance would be similar. But I sat on one, and it simply doesn't feel as comfortable as the Xciting. And seems as if it wouldn't be that good for long trips.

My perfect scooter would be an Xciting with the 300 engine!
(Or they could simply certify and import the Xciting 400 that they sell overseas.

What would be YOUR perfect scooter you had your way and could mix and match parts or characteristics of various scooters?

I love my Downtown. Fits my stubby little numb legs perfect, drags me around at 70 on the slab and still easy enough around town. I don't need anything more.

But.....
I've always wanted a Tmax but it's to tall for me. Now the Kymco K50 could end up in my garage if they bring it here and if the seat height is to be lower as stated.

With a Kymco GTI300 with 35 hp and 25-30 ft-lb of torque.
Weighing in around 365 pound curb weight.
Easy access to brake reservoirs. And easy off/on plastic panels.
A seat that is comfortable with some back tilt.

This would be a dream machine, IMHO.

From posts and studying my vote goes to the GT300. I'd invest in a new custom seat if necessary.

Xciting 400 is the ONLY one I would consider over my DT300 .
