I started with the givi box and givi lights,  they kept flicking off, so I ordered LED light strips that glued on ,.  and wired it on one wire from running  light , one wire from Ea. turn light , and one wire from brake light,  ran wires to trailer 4 wire hook up, at the box installed LED light strips under light faring, took me one after noon,  with about 2 hours of cussing

Thanks. I too eventually will use the trailer wire hook up. I am thinking a constant ground and then for the 3 positive wires
1.) tail light
2.) stop light
3.) 10 amp fused direct feed from the battery to a power port inside the box.

I will need to get the lit tail light strip though.

Yeah I used the ground on the scooter and have the strip wired for running and brake lights. And then the 3rd eye comes on with braking

I have the brackets all mounted. I was going to paint it white but looking at it the black matching the seat works best. I am really happy with the size of the box for the bike as well. Now to get the electrical done and then the liner installed.

Edit; Took a short ride and this works great. It seems the box lowers the amount of turbulent air hitting your back as you ride, at least up to 50MPH as I had tried out. this makes for a much more comfortable ride in the cooler air. Not too sure how this will translate on the warmer days however.

I love the liner. I have spilled a few things in the liner and just took it out and rinsed it in the sink and put it back in. It does seem to help with the airflow somehow in my mind too. The Givi windscreen helped alot too.

The "BESTEM" box looks brilliant! I just had a quick look and it looks like it's not available in the UK.
I have the givi E370, and there is a brake light kit available at £30 ish, but it's certainly not a patch on the BESTEM box.

the givi E460 looks like stigs  top box , and you can wire it at home ,  the E370 does the light kit fill all of the reflectors, with brake and turn signals, with running lights.,

I am not too sure about the reflector/lighting strip. I want the reflector to be both lit as a tail light and as a turn signal. I purchased 12 of the 15 light 11" strips and have a Bestem 4 wire disconnect coming. I would use 2 strips per side. I was also planing on a 4 wire trailer quick disconnect as well.  This would give an eight wire connection.

1.) constant ground
2.) brake positive
3.) Tail positive
4.) left positive
5.) right positive
6.) met-in positive (inside box light)
7.) constant positive (power port)

I followed a wire diagram from another site. I used the wires provided and didn't have to add any. The LED strip is on as a running light and also lights up with the brake and then there is the 3rd eye brake light. I can pull out the liner and tell you the colors that go together and take a pic too.

I don't have the stock LEDs for the strip. I plan on wiring in my own. If we just use the brake light tail light four wires fine. However I am greedy and want more!

I have started the lighting. I have 2 9 LED strips inside for night time light. I am going to use 4 15 LED strips for the tail light. at least for now I am going to hold off on the rest.

I think I might have to add the white in box light strip. I like that. Are they on all the time then or did you put a switch somewhere?

Right now I just have the box wired. Next step is the bike wiring. I plan to run the;

1.) stop light
2.) dual light strips as tail light
3.) the interior lights from the under seat light power

so to activate the box light I will just then just pop the seat open.

Edit; if you do the lights the tape is not very strong so I super glued them in to the box.
