Sold the Scooter last week

While I enjoyed the People 300, and it was everything I said it was; I sold it last week. The Scoot went in trade on a new 2015 Yamaha 950 tourer.
I just found I missed the additional power. I have some overnight trips planned (the range and maintenance frequency were an issue). Also as strange as it sounds, I missed running through the gears.

And you can get more bike for your $$ than scooter.

It's never been a chore for me either.
Just highly overrated by those that see it as a true measure of a rider. It's not that tough any dirt track full of 8 year olds shifting away proves it.

Unless I'm diving into twisties the shifters just not needed for me.

we like hearing from you.
Riders understand a change is needed once in awhile.
My health limits my range now days. Usually within a 125-150 mile
radius of home. Most of the time less than that.
Guess i`ll stick with my GT. I don`t like changing gears and
prefer automatics in my cars too.
We hope you like your new motorcycle.
My first choice in motorcycles is Yamaha, even over Honda.
I have had two Yamaha s over the years and the were very
good machines.

I agree. After 3 years of ownership, i`m still amazed at how good
that 300cc engine runs.
It zips along like a quiet jet.
I love to crank the throttle going up long hills. It just keeps
gaining speed.

I don't agree.  They are a lot more alike than they are different.  I consider them all "bikes".   I have two of each.
