Possible to keep the scoot on its center stand while throttling wide open for jetting?

No! You have to have the engine under a load. It requires almost NO fuel to run on the stand.

..i cant hold my scoot at WOT for very long on the ctr stand anyway....

..want's to slide around and dang, i'd hate for the rear tire to catch any traction...even if holding th' front brake...

Hey zombie you were right, my guilty was so fast today... I dont understand it.  When i took her out in the morning the acelleration kind of sucked, but after two miles or so it got way better for some reason.  Can't even imagine how much faster it would be once i install my other stuff.

Got my torque and fly springs in the mail today.  Turns out they were NCY brand, but scootertronics didn't say.  Harbor freight messed up my order and i didn't get the clamps i ordered to take apart my clutch, now i got to wait another week to open up the clutch.  BOOOOOOOO!!!!

That kinda sux, (harbor fr.) but no biggie. These scoots really like to wind out for awhile. It loosens up the rings, and sort of shakes out the cob webs.

Don't worry too much, with a little care and common sense you can open the clutch quite safely without the clamps. This morning I loosened the nut and then held the clutch while my wife undid the nut. It  took longer to put the clutch and cvt cover back on than it did to replace the spring. Give it a go and good luck.

..did the same thing the other day when i left my spring tool at home, except substitute "wife" with "co-worker"...

..not a problem with another set of hands..

Yeah, I was worried about trying it the first time but once you have done it you see it is not hard.
