There has to be another fuse. I can't imagine it burning out the ign. switch. Maybe tho. Start at the battery, and follow the circuit to the switch, and so on, You can do the basics w/ a test light, but a DMM is better. To make it all easier I would remove all the plastics. You may have burnt the regulator, and it will be easier to trace it all out. There are service manuals in the general section under "links to service manuals". Now that I said it... I would test the regulator first
