Anyone have one of these snap?  Near the connection point to the transmission cover.  The other support holding the mud guard / rear fender on the muffler side is intact.

Do you mean the tab on the tire hugger broke.....or the support to the hugger?
See pix ...search " tire hugger " by " Stig "
 The support will be an easy fix.....not so if you have to get that whole hugger out of the.
Do not recall anyone having either of these parts fail.
Did your scooter fall over or ?

Yes, mine broke at about 1,500 miles.  Ordered a new one from Kymco and it has gone another 1,500 miles without breaking.

Being nosey....was that purchased before the big price drop I read about on Justgottascoot ?
Any issues with  your 5 yr old LIKE200I ....other than that fender support?

 Mine broke a while back. I hit it with a gas weld and repainted it black. It held for about 6 months. I haven't gotten around to ordering 1 yet. It makes a rattle when going over bumps.

I had mine break last season when I hit an especially bad pot hole. I had already replaced the one on the exhaust side as I noticed it was cracked. Rather than getting a new part I fashioned a bracket and secured with a zip-tie. I has been fine since

mine also broke. got it welded and then took my brothers out just before it sold it. 2 months later bike was totaled hehe
now its holding there...

The back farm roads in Oregon can be pretty chunky! Nice and smooth in Salem though, the state DOT is here.

city but sometimes you can encounter a huge pot hole.. but i cant recall when it broke. i found out one morning and it was already broken.
algo broke a windshield cause of a pot hole..

Sounds like a recall, is in order!   

Ordered the part via mail order, something in the order of $10 + $20 shipping.

I considered simply removing the rear mud guard, altogether.  But, the engineers must've put it there for a reason...

keeps the bike really clean.. i dont recomend to take it

Stig, the 2011 is as reliable an anvil except for that fender support and a loose screw here or there.  Got it used with 750 miles for $1,400.

Yes...that tire hugger does a great job keeping the scooter cleaner in wet weather.....my Honda Forza and even worse...the Burgman 400 mess themselves quite easily! !
I always take the LIKE200I in the wet stuff! Less to clean afterwards.

 I rode up to Ventura, on a 180 mile round trip on the day after Christmas. When I got home and starting cleaning up, I noticed that I lost a bolt on the muffler heat shield. It happens. What surprised me was that the left rear fender bracket had broken again, after being replaced over the summer. Also, the front right bracket for the tire hugger was broken as well. It was a long day and higher speeds on Pacific Coast Highway. I didn't realize that the roads were that bad.
 That type of ride is not what the Like was made for, but it did alright considering. I don't know if was the bouncing of the road that causes this, or what.  I had removed the tire hugger and reinstalled it for a tire removal. Everything seemed to fit correctly without stress.
