At the counter in Tim's Friday....5:30am....(wearing my riding gear) and an old guy gets up and comes to stand behind me - "This town sure is getting dangerous! Another motorcyclist killed yesterday! " he loudly announces to the empty store.
I looked at him.
"Just kidding!" he says.
My 16 yr old daughter always tells me to be kind and polite - even to bozos.

I just turned back and waited for my coffee.

He went chuckling back to his corner.

Stig,

I applaud your self-control.  I would have probably made a comment like, "Yeah, I hear the life expectancy of bad comedians is pretty short as well."   My wife notes I have trouble keeping my mouth closed...LOL!!
